Leonbergery from Bursztynówka

Anna and Wladyslaw Bursztyn are dog lovers and owners of Bursztynowka. The beginning of Leonberger breeding in Bursztynowka came with Anna and Wladyslaw purchase of Bazuka from Stajnia Zbroslawicka, who was born in 1990. Bazuka was a beautiful dog, Polish champion. Bazuka was bred with Ben Jakubski Dwor, and her puppies were the first generation of Leonbergers from Bursztynowka. One of female Leos from this litter was Astra from Bursztynowka.

Astra was magnificent, and became a Polish champion and a winner of numerous national and international shows. She held CWC and CACIB titles. Astra was bred with Blondy Boy Ji-To, and from this "marriage" comes the second generation of Leonbergers from Bursztynowka. Anna and Wladyslaw kept two female Leos from this litter, named Bazuka and Barbie. Barbie was commonly known as Rudzik (which means red head), due to her rare among Leonbergers reddish coat. Both Bazuka and Rudzik were beautiful, gracefully and proportionately built. They have won many national and international shows, and hold CWC and CACIB titles. They are sweet-tempered, gentle and friendly, but at the same time very vigilant.
